As Director of Forensics, Lee Whitfield brings close to a decade of experience in the field of expert witness testimony to Digital Discovery. He earned his Computer Forensics degree at The University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom and has since become an industry expert in computer forensic collections and investigations. Lee has served as Forensic Lab Manager and Computer Forensics Supervisor for two national digital forensics firms in the UK. He is frequently designated as a Special Master to the Court and possesses extensive experience in computer forensic investigations involving intellectual property theft, contract disputes and criminal matters. As an industry expert, Lee presents frequently at various international conferences and universities addressing password security, Microsoft volume shadow copy research and the field of digital forensics. He is the creator and host of the well-known industry podcast, Forensic 4cast and established the Forensic 4cast Awards in 2009 which recognizes those that excel in the field of digital forensics. Lee has also appeared on national television in the UK as a guest on "The Gadget Show" to discuss password security and best practices.
Lee moved his family to the U.S. to be closer to relatives and now lives with his wife Alisha and their four children in Wylie.
